yehhee.. Mama tess will turn sweet 71 tomorrow… she doesn’t’ look like one though, honestly! She’s so young for her age. Just invert the number and it’s my age!!! mama tess is a good, i mean the best grandmother for all of us and I know… God’s taking care of her well and the rest of the family. I pray for it every sunday.

I still remember when I was a kid… how I hugged her from behind in the morning while she’s cooking in the kitchen. Then she’ll give me my meal (champorado) with powder milk on top… =) and the time we exercise our foot and wrist in bed (she can make a ‘klok’ sound on her foot!). The bedtime stories back then… when she have to scratch my back ’til I dozed off and when she stops scratching, I wiggle my arms then she’ll start scratching again. hehe. I remember when we do ROSARY at night… she falls asleep while reciting the Hail MAry and I have to call her “Ma…”. Or those mornings when she have to wake me up for school and I said, 10 minutes… 5 minutes Ma… Last 1 minute Ma… though I don’t really know the time span of that.

Hayy, those days… where are they? Time passed so fast and here I am now, can’t even hugged her. ( I kiss her though, before I leave the house ) I feel like crying.. huhu. She’s right here watching TV. I can’t even tell her that I love her even she always nag at me specially in the morning when I have hard time getting up…. or when she tells me for the 20th time on how to act like a simple and graceful girl. (I’m a lousy one!) or how to walk like a lady… or what shoes I have to wear ( you must wear heels, she said) But you know… she supports me well. When I tell her something how well I did in school, she always sa something nice. And when I tell her something bad (like, failing an exam) she just give some homily (which were true, sometimes) and tells me, there’e a next time and I should do it well if I want a better future (very true) I disappoint her so much I know. And I am so sorry about it. I’m a human… I’m not perfect. All that’s perfect for me is 100% I love her.

daddy’s 69, Mama’s 71. Few years more… maybe 7 or 6 years more… it’s their Gold Wedding Anniversary ( january 30th). And I have huge plan for that day. That’s one of lot of reasons why I keep moving upward. I have to prepare big bucks to celebrate it grand. And I can do that with the help of the Almighty God. To keep them healthy and safe for years to come so that I can fulfill one of my greatest plans… and to keep me safe too. hehe. I’m the planner, I must be there on that day! and to guide me (and the rest of the whole family).

Maybe right now, all we can do on her birthday is to go outside and watch movie ( ICE AGE 3 ) and eat in our favorite chain, Mcdonalds… nut give me 3 years… just 3 years… and i can even throw a party just like Nanay Dionisia’s (Mann Pacquio’s mother) party.

My family is all I got…. I love them! =)
